Chuck Berry will release new album in 2017

How to Play Chuck Berry's “Johnny B. Goode”

Immortalized by the hit "Johnny B. Goode", Berry hit the Top 10 in 1955 with "Maybellene" and went on to influence generations of musicians.

The former Beatles star posted an homage to Berry on his official website that reads, "He was one of rock "n" roll's greatest poets".

Tim Riley, professor of journalism at Emerson College, Boston-based music critic, and author of "Lennon: Man, Myth, Music". He died of natural causes and TMZ reported March 2o that his personal doctor will sign off with that being the cause of death and there will be no autopsy.

Chuck Berry fans anxious that the rock legend's recent death would complicate plans for the release of his first album of new music in almost 40 years can lay those fears to rest.

Now, Chuck Berry's family and record label is working to release his last collection of songs.

Over the weekend, Joe Edwards, the owner of the Blueberry Hill club in St. Louis where Berry performed regularly, said the tracks he's heard off CHUCK, are "sensational". The album will mark his first release since the 1979 album Rock It.

Berry made it to age 90 and lived long enough to see his face get carved into the Mt. Rushmore of the electric guitar.

Police responded to a 911 call at moments after midday where they found Berry unresponsive, TMZ reported. Although they "immediately administered lifesaving techniques", they could not revive the 90-year-old Berry; he was pronounced dead at 1:26PM. "He will be missed but remembered by everyone who ever loved rock "n" roll".

His Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood described the musician as his biggest inspiration.
