After many flops in the recent past, Ranbir Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to make his upcoming film Sanjay Dutt biopic a blockbuster.

Reports also suggest that Sonam Kapoor will play "Tina Munim" and Anushka Sharma might get cast to play the role of a lawyer.

"It has been an inspiring journey for me to be playing Sanjay Dutt for the silver screen". Dia Mirza is all set to play the part of Sanjay's wife Maanayata Dutt.

According to the media reports, the makers of Dutt's biopic has roped in Television actress Karishma Tanna to play a pivotal role in the movie. It further added that the actress has shot her part in three days long schedule.

Besides the physical changes, Ranbir was also spotted wearing a wig resembling Dutt's hairstyle from the '90s while shooting for the Rajkumar Hirani directorial.

The yet untitled movie, being directed by Rajkumar Hirani, would show seven distinct stages of the life of Sanjay Dutt, beginning from when he was, all.

In the film, Ranbir will be seen sporting different looks through the various phases of Sanjay's life, from beefed-up to worn-out.

Karishma has done many popular shows on small screen. She is a former Bigg Boss contestant.

She made her Bollywood debut with the forgettable sex comedy Grand Masti in 2013.
