Funeral for Robert Godwin, Sr. scheduled for Saturday

The man who was the subject of a national manhunt for randomly shooting and killing someone on a Cleveland street and uploading footage of the homicide to Facebook has killed himself in Erie, Pennsylvania, state police said.

Stephens, who had no prior criminal record, was not suspected in any other killings, Cleveland officials said. Cleveland police issued an appeal for information with a $50,000 reward on Monday, and also circulated photos of Stephen's auto and license plate.

"Steve Stephens was spotted this morning by PSP members in Erie County".

The man accused of killing a 74-year-old man and posting a video of it to Facebook has killed himself in northwestern Pennsylvania, according to authorities.

In several posts, he claimed to have killed as many as a dozen people, but police have not found evidence to support that claim.

"As the officers approached that vehicle Steve Stephens took his own life", he said. "We are going to work on building common ground, not just getting more opinions out there", Zuckerberg said.

In the footage Stephens pulls over in a auto on a street in Cleveland as he says: "Find me somebody to kill, gonna kill this guy right here".

Stephens' videos and posts related to the incident were removed from Facebook two hours after they were uploaded.

"All I can say is that I wish he had gone down in a hail of one hundred bullets", his daughter Brenda Haymon told CNN.

Tonya R. Godwin-Baines and Debbie D. Godwin said they know Lane did nothing wrong and wanted her to know it.

Following a brief police pursuit, Stephens died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Beech Brook, a behavioral health facility in a Cleveland suburb where Stephens had worked since 2008, said in a statement on Tuesday that Stephens had cleared an extensive background check.

"And this is a prime example, this is something that should not have been shared around the world". He demanded that his victim say the name of Stephens' girlfriend and added, "She's the reason this is about to happen to you".

Stephens demanded Godwin repeat the name of his former girlfriend.
