Empire Magazine has now officially released the new Alien: Covenant images from their latest issue, and they come with a bit of gore and a potentially major spoiler. And that's not all, as Empire also revealed three new images for the upcoming sci-fi thriller which gives us a new - and rather gory - look at the Neomorph, Michael Fassbender's David/Walter, and Guy Pearce's Peter Weyland; take a look below...

Celebrate global Alien Day on April 26 with fans of Ridley Scott's sci-fi series. I actually saw this thing in action during the 15 minutes of the film that screened at SXSW last month and it made a strong (and gory) impression. Swarms of alien technology can not be a good thing.

The third image features a mysterious person unleashing pods on the Engineers homeworld.

The second new image shows Michale Fassbender as android David, returning from Prometheus.

White nationalist Spencer speaks to packed room at Auburn
Hundreds of people gathered outside Foy Hall before Spencer's speech, many of whom were there to protest his appearance. Keith Watkins ruled that Auburn, as a public institution covered by the First Amendment, had to allow Spencer to speak.

"John Logan [who wrote "Alien: Covenant"] is doing it". Like the previous videos, these were seemingly recorded as the Covenant initially set out on its journey, long before everything went to hell and aliens starting eating people. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Alien Covenant will be premiering in the theatres worldwide on May 19th, 2017 onwards and stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz and more.

There will be a special screening of the acclaimed director's 1979 classic Alien, starring Sigourney Weaver, along with an exclusive look into Alien: Covenant, which opens here May 10.
