Overwatch - Uprising Seasonal Event trailer

This video from PlayStation France showcased an all-new PvE game mode called "King's Row" with four characters: Reinhardt, Tracer, Mercy and Torbjorn. The mode sees four players fighting together to defend London from a swarm of robots. This new event, dubbed Overwatch: Uprising, will take us back in time, to a period before Overwatch was disbanded and was needed to prevent another Omnic crisis. There is also a bunch of cool new outfits and other brand new elements to look forward to, including new "skins, intro screens, emotes, tags", and a lot more (via Gamespot). Blizzard has recently confirmed the Omnic Crisis in-game event named as Insurrection.

The Junkenstein PVE event during Halloween had been a massive success, and since then Overwatch players have been clamoring for the next Overwatch event.

The details and trailer leaked yesterday, but Overwatch's new mode is now both official and live across PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Players might want to be quick in grabbing these new features, however, since the Insurrection event will end on May 1st.

In what's become something of a tradition at this point, some upcoming Overwatch content appears to have leaked - in this case, upcoming event skins. As experts in storytelling, Blizzard has even managed to bring to life the backstory of its first person team shooter, Overwatch.

There are also sprays showing younger versions of Overwatch heroes, such as a very cute little D. Va, perhaps because that's how old they were when the events of Insurrection played out. Although it's not confirmed whether they'll be the only playable characters in Uprising, that seems likely.
