Russia: Putin Explained to Tillerson Why Relations Have Deteriorated

Describing the Syrian leader as a "butcher" he said he had "absolutely no doubt" the United States had done the "right thing".

Recent events that could brew a possible global conflict lead many to fear and speculate that a third world war could erupt, following the rising tension between the United States and Russian Federation over Trump's response to the Syria chemical attacks. "Now everyone, including the United States, agrees that the main task within the Syrian crisis is a victory over the ISIS terrorist group (banned in Russia) and the statement of the ministers clearly shows that there is a clear understanding between Syria, Iran and Russian Federation about further joint actions", Elena Dunaeva drew attention.

It was the eighth time that Russian Federation has used its veto power to block action directed at Damascus.

"Russia, as their closest ally in the conflict, perhaps has the best means of helping Assad recognize this reality", said Tillerson. Trump said in a note on Twitter.

The U.S has been centered on all issues globally after President Donald Trump banned the immigrants. But he said it was an open question where relations go from here.

A number of Arab mass media have been speculating Jordan, Britain, the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia have some plans for opening a new front against the Syrian army in the south of the country.

The second theory Putin offered was that "this was all staged, in other words this was a provocation".

He said Moscow was ready to resume a deal with Washington to avoid incidents in Syrian airspace as the two countries lead separate bombing campaigns.

But that prospect appeared remote, with Trump's secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, getting a frosty reception in Moscow, and Russian Federation using its U.N. Security Council veto to swat down a US -backed resolution demanding Syrian cooperation in probing last week's suspected sarin attack in the town of Khan Sheikhoun, which killed 87 civilians.

Facebook killer takes his own life as police close in
A $50,000 reward was offered in this case, and many people are urging authorities to give the money to the McDonald's employee. Cleveland police detectives spoke with Stephens via cell phone after the killing and tried to persuade him to surrender.

He claimed the USA and the West were "hand-in-glove with the terrorists". Lavrov then described a list of US efforts to achieve "regime change" around the world, from Serbia to Iraq to Libya. He described them all as failures. "They were there. We'll find that out", he said. "But when I see people using disgusting, frightful chemical weapons ... and see these handsome kids that are dead in their father's arms, or you see kids gasping for life ... when you see that, I immediately called [Defense Secretary] General Mattis".

Still, Tillerson sought to stress the positives from his meetings. But so far, it appears the two countries are growing further apart. Tillerson's mission sees the Trump administration taking on the traditional US role as spokesman for a unified Western position. But Tillerson repeated the administration's new belief that "the reign of the Assad family is coming to an end".

The U.S. accuses the Syrian government of deliberately launching the deadly chemical attack in Khan Sheikhoun on April 4. And he suggested that possible war-crimes charges could be levied against the Syrian leader.

China typically sides with Russian Federation in the Security Council, including in opposing US -backed measures to punish Syria for its use of chemical weapons.

While the most immediate U.S. Russia wants the U.S.to eliminate sanctions on Moscow related to its 2014 annexation of Ukraine's Crimea region and support for pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

The Kremlin had previously declined to confirm Putin would meet Tillerson, reflecting the renewed tension. "This is just the latest use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime", he said, noting that Assad had presided over more than 50 attacks, using weapons such as cluster bombs and chlorine bombs "intended to maim and kill in the most horrific ways". "We consider it of utmost importance to prevent the risks of replay of similar action in the future".

Russian Federation is Syria's ally, and on Wednesday, the country vetoed a United Nations resolution that would have called on Syria to help in an worldwide investigation of the attack. Turkey has said tests showed sarin gas was used.

"The worldwide community has spoken".
