A cafe dedicated to Nutella is coming to Chicago

But the cafe will also be offering non-Nutella eats, too.

The two-level cafe is owned by Ferreo USA, the company that owns Nutella, whereas the Nutella Bar in New York City is owned and operated by Eataly NYC.

Among the "authentic" menu items inspired by the hazelnut-chocolate spread's Italian origins will be warm baguettes and gelato, all topped with Nutella.

While Chicago will have the world's first Nutella Cafe, the company has similar locations all over the world, including a shop in Palestine and kiosks in Sao Paulo.

While desserts will be central to the the restaurant, it will also serve Nutella in savory ways. "The Nutella Café offers something for everybody, and we encourage everyone to come in and try a dish or snack". Currently, there are Nutella outposts at Eataly in NY and Chicago, and independently-owned Nutella joints from Brazil to Italy.

Oh, and bonus for those in Chicago with big Nutella plans: if you're one of the first 400 people on site for the café's opening, special "surprises" are being offered (while supplies last).

For more information on the Nutella Cafe menu, updates, location and hours of operation please visit www.Facebook.com/NutellaCafeChicago.

About Nutella®Nutella® was created in 1964 thanks to Mr. Michele Ferrero; it was based on the recipe for Giandujot developed in 1946 by his father, Pietro Ferrero - confectioner and founder of Ferrero - in Italy's Piedmont area.

Obsessed fans of the miraculous hazelnut spread, rejoice! As Angela Baird, the director of operations of Brand Innovation Group, told the Chicago Tribune, "It's created to make you feel like you're actually walking into a jar of Nutella". Introduced to the United States market in 1983, it has since become the number one selling branded hazelnut spread in America.
