Baahubali: The Conclusion weekend Box Office collection

The second installment of the Bahubali franchise, which stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, Anushka Shetty and Tamannah Bhatia in lead roles, is witnessing a mad rush at the ticket counters.

Having a huge advance booking, the film ran in packed houses everywhere on its opening day and collected Rs 212 crore gross (including premieres' collection) at the worldwide box office.

In the first quarter of 2017, movies like Jolly LLB 2, Badrinath ki Dulhania, Kaabil and Raaes entered the 100 crore club by collecting Rs 116.9 crore, 115.4 crore, 103.8 core and 137.5 crore, respectively in three days. The film has reached highs grossing Rs. 200 crore in just 5 days for the Hindi version.

So far, "Baahubali 2" has grossed Rs 695-crore (nett 545-crore) in India (all versions) and Rs 165-crore in the global markets.

Southern star Prabhas not only left his fans and followers surprised with his films but also created headlines for his looks. Despite being a southern film, it is running to packed houses in all the release centers.

With its strong first week sales, Baahubali 2 had the best opening for an Indian film at the US box office and third best opening for a foreign language film, behind only Jet Li's Fearless and Hero, according to figures from Box Office Mojo. Globally, it launched to $77.7 million, including an estimated $10.1 million in North America, a record showing for an Indian film. When compared to its business on Monday, Baahubali 2 showed around 50 per cent dip in its collection on its fifth day. The initial film launched on 10th July 2015 invited tremendous appreciation from the local and worldwide audience. As of now collection of the melodrama is Rs 121 crore in India afterward next day when the film hit theatre, and a total of Rs 217 crore worldwide. The Karan Johar produced the historical film with some massive screening in opened to have 9000 screens worldwide, with nearly 6,500 screens in India alone.

Made on a staggering budget of Rs 250 crore, the magnum opus eclipsed all the existing records in the domestic box office as well.
