SNL brought back Melissa McCarthy's Sean Spicer, with added homoerotic undertones

"Spicy" made an appearance during McCarthy's landmark fifth "SNL" hosting stint, emerging from the bushes to take over a briefing from Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders (played by Aidy Bryant).

As for Comey's replacement, Baldwin's Trump vowed that it will be someone "so bonkers you're going to wish like hell it was Judge Judy".

"All right, let me put this whole Russian Federation thing to bed once and for all", she said. "Trump in innocent. How do we know?"

Be proactive - Use the "Flag as Inappropriate" link at the upper right corner of each comment to let us know of abusive posts. "Because he told us so, period".

However, pushed on the idea Trump may be lying to him even though "he wouldn't do that, he's my friend", Spicer and his motorised podium took a journey to New York City to confront his employer. In the sketch, Che's Holt is shocked when Baldwin-as-Trump admits to firing Comey because of the Russian Federation probe.

Adding to the anxiety is the fact that McCarthy's lampooning of Spicer is being watched weekly by Spicer's boss, who is known for being prickly about SNL and its political coverage to begin with.

"Yes", Baldwin's Trump responds before locking lips. Baldwin's Trump replies, "Only since you started working here".

McCarthy's Spicer suddenly leaves the press room on the electric podium, setting off for NY to find Trump.

"Is this like The Godfather where you kiss me and no one ever sees me again", asks McCarthy's Spicer, who initially resists.

"Yes", Baldwin-as-Trump replied before the two shared an epic lip-lock. "It's ok, I'm famous".

Baldwin's Trump also appeared in the show's cold open, which mocked the president's interview earlier this week with NBC News host Lester Holt, played by cast member Michael Che.

"Don't make me make the podium move", he said to laughter at a news briefing in March in response to a pointed question about the latest employment figures.

Holt, in a rare portrayal by Weekend Update co-host Michael Che, gleaned a bombshell confession from Trump that James Comey was canned because of his investigation into the President's alleged ties to Russian Federation.
