Beyoncé and Jay Z welcome twins, reports say

Singer Beyonce performs during The 59th GRAMMY Awards at STAPLES Center

Beyonce's father has apparently confirmed that the U.S. singer has welcomed her twins.

There has been days of rampant speculation if the 35-year-old singer had given birth at a Los Angeles medical center.

Huge congratulations to Beyonce and Jay Z - we can't wait to find out more about their newest bundles of joy! Even Beyonce's father, with whom she has had a strained relationship, tweeted congrats Sunday.

"We would like to share our love and happiness", the Beyhive wrote.

Beyoncé has blessed the world by bringing two new members of the Knowles-Carter family into it.

The superstar entertainer announced in an Instagram post in February that she and Jay Z were enlarging the family, "growing by two", she said at the time.

Photos posted online showed Beyonce at the baby shower bash in an outfit that displayed her massively swollen belly.

This addition makes her a mother of three and a house-hold of five. And according to US Magazine, Bey and Jay were "thrilled" to welcome one girl and one boy, meaning lucky Blue has a new brother and sister.

Earlier this week, former President Barack Obama hinted that the Carters were expecting twin girls during his speech for Jay's Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

We also don't know what the babies' names are yet - but Beyonce and Jay Z are fans of unique names, naming their eldest daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé and Jay Z welcomed their bundles of joy into the world almost one week ago, but a bump in the road has prevented the new mom from bringing her babies home.

Beyonce also pulled the plug on plans to perform at the Coachella festival in California in April 2017 upon doctors' advice, and Lady Gaga stepped in for her.
