Christiansen named new Leeds manager

With names such as Aitor Karanka, Claudio Ranieri and even Leeds" own Pep Clotet, amongst many others, being cited as "favourites' for the job, the appointment of Christiansen has definitely come out of left-field. During the last season, he won Cypriot First Division and advanced to the round of 16 in UEFA Europa League with Apoel Nicosia.

This news is sure to please Leeds fans who were left unaware by Christiansen's contract length, following it's surprise omission for the club statement on Thursday.

Aside from that, very little is known about the former two-cap Spanish global and one time, seven minute appearance, Barcelona player Christiansen.

And that has made things particularly hard in terms of trying to get Leeds into a position to challenge for promotion to the top-flight, but what is seemingly clear is that new owner Radrizzani has got the man he wants and is willing to back him as the club look to improve upon their seventh place finish last term. Leeds managing director Angus Kinnear seems to share this optimism.

"Thomas was someone who had been on our radar from the very early stages of the process and quickly established himself as the outstanding candidate".

School yearbook to be reissued with pro-Trump photos
"Therefore, I have determined that a re‐issuance of the yearbook is necessary", she continued. The school board is expected to discuss further discipline at its Tuesday meeting.

However, the former White is keen to back the new head coach and has urged the fans to get behind Christiansen and the players ahead of the start of the new season.

Christiansen takes over a Leeds side who narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season following a costly winless run in April, with the club having set their sights on going one better and breaking into the top six in 2017-18.

Ekuban impressed whilst on loan with Partizani Tirana last season, which has brought him to the attention of Leeds United and Apoel.

"We wanted to appoint someone who can help us create a winning culture at the club and unite everyone connected with Leeds United, from the players to the supporters, ultimately taking the club back to where we all feel we belong".
