Westminster Magistrates' Court heard today that Force India owner Vijay Mallya could face further charges as banks in India seek to recover $1.4bn owed by Kingfisher Airlines.

Liquor baron and absconding loan-defaulter Vijay Mallya on Tuesday said that he has not eluded any court and denied all allegations levelled against him.

Minister of State for External Affairs V K Singh today said all necessary steps have been taken to bring back embattled tycoon Vijay Mallya from the United Kingdom but, "as of now", no timeframe can be specified for his extradition. He wrote, "I intend to attend all games to cheer the India team".

Earlier, Mallya claimed that he has enough evidence to plead his case.

"You can keep dreaming about the billion pounds, provided you have the facts to justify your questions. don't ask irrelevant questions", Mallya told a reporter who questioned him on allegedly causing Indian taxpayers to lose billions.

Singh had said the documents required for the objective of extradition were sent to the UK. "If you do so, you will be back in custody".

Original Xbox games and Game Pass may come to PC
In addition, the price of the Xbox One S was lowered by $50, according to a tweet from Microsoft . One of the biggest advantages Xbox One has over the PlayStation 4 is backward compatibility .

Mallya's lawyer, Ben Watson, told a hearing at London's Westminster Magistrate's court on Tuesday India was believed to be preparing a second extradition request with further separate charges.

He was speaking as Mallya appeared in court for a preliminary hearing into an extradition request which has already been lodged by the Indian government. "He can come back and face the law", said CPI leader D. Raja.

Liquor baron Vijay Mallya lambasts Indian media over "intense hate campaign" against him.

Now today (June 11), as Mallya reached the stadium to attend the must-win India-South Africa match, the local Indian fans booed him, calling him "Chor" (Thief). But the prosecution said that without a second request they have to deal with what was now before them.

CPS argued that the government of India will deal responsibly with any future extradition request and that a conclusion of the current case by December was preferable. The full extradition hearing was provisionally listed to start on December 4 and to last two weeks. The hearing was scheduled for May 13, but was deferred by a month. A joint CBI-ED team went to London last month with documents to bolster the Crown's case.
