John Legend postpones US shows due to illness

Bad news for John Legend fans.

He again apologized for the inconvenience to fans.

'We will be postponing the shows at Merriweather Post Pavilion and BB&T Pavilion in Camden.

John Legend has been forced to postpone shows to give his voice time to recover after falling ill.

The powerhouse vocalist posted on Twitter Tuesday that he is rescheduling his Maryland and Camden concerts as he's become sick and needs "a few days to recover".

Legend is still scheduled to perform at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in New London, Connecticut, on Friday, and at Madison Square Garden in New York City next week. We will announce the new dates very soon'.

He is now on his world tour to promote his album "Darkness and Light", accompanied by his wife model Chrissy Teigen and 14-month-old daughter, Luna. "The awesome thing about this tour is my family is coming along!" he shared.

As for Teigen, he gushed that his wife is "is actually quite musical".

John's "Darkness and Light" tour is set to go overseas in September.
