Judge orders deadlocked Cosby jury to keep deliberating

So Judge Steven O'Neill told the jurors, "You must agree unanimously", and had them go back to talk some more.

"We can not come to a unanimous consensus on any of these counts", the sequestered panel said in a note to the judge sent out at 11:06 a.m. after more than 30 hours of deliberations.

The jury in Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial is deadlocked.

Prosecutors say the comedian gave Constand pills that immobilized her and that she couldn't fight off his sexual advances.

The 79-year-old star is charged with three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault, which could mean ten years in prison.

On Tuesday, the jury reviewed more than a dozen passages from a deposition Cosby gave last decade, listening to excerpts on a wide range of topics, from Cosby's first meeting with Andrea Constand to the night in 2004 she says he drugged and violated her.

"My gut feeling is that they have at least one or two jurors hung", said Cohen, who past year represented former-Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski in a battery case. They called one witness - a detective.

Nothing has filtered out about the state of the deliberations, with only hints to be gleaned from questions they have asked O'Neill.

The judge who oversaw U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah's federal bribery and fraud trial past year booted a juror after his colleagues on the panel reported they were unable to reach a verdict due to one of their own refusing to deliberate.

The judge in the sexual assault case of comedian Bill Cosby has declared a mistrial.

Italy giving 5.2B euros in resources to keep 2 banks open
It was given the job because national regulators were considered too slow to address troubles at their home banks. As well as bad loans, they have also been dragged down by a mis-selling scandal.

They also asked the judge to again explain the meaning of "reasonable doubt".

Constand's lawyer, Dolores Troiani, told reporters that Jackson is "not telling the truth" and faulted Wyatt for circulating Jackson's statement while jurors were deliberating.

Ms Constand and her mother were in court for the announcement from the jurors.

Cosby's defense team argues that the encounter was consensual and "romantic", while prosecutors say it was one assault within a larger pattern of drugging and sexually assaulting women.

O'Neill sent them back to the jury room to keep talking.

As evening fell, the panel of seven men and five women was still at it, poised for another marathon session in a case that has already helped torpedo Cosby's career and nice-guy reputation. After 31 hours of deliberations, jurors said they were deadlocked.

The sequestered jury has been at it for more than 27 hours since getting the case Monday.

Wyatt, during the press conference Thursday night, said this is the longest jury deliberation in Montgomery County to date.

Cosby did not testify, but his account was shown to the juror in the form of a police interview from 2005, as well as sworn depositions he gave in 2005 and 2006 as part of Constand's civil lawsuit against him.

Count one is the matter of consent: did Andrea Constand say "yes" to engaging in sexual contact with Cosby?
