LCD Soundsystem To Open Warehouse Project

Details of an LCD Soundsystem world tour have also been revealed, including two dates in Manchester to open the 2017 season of the Warehouse Project.

They also served up a documentary called "Shut Up" and "Play the Hits", sharing the 47-year-old frontman's final 48 hours on stage and before and after their last show at Madison Square Garden in NY on April 2, 2011.

Warehouse Project returns this September, 12 weekends of electronic innovation comprising some of the finest line ups around.

The follow up to 2010's This Is Happening will be titled American Dream and will be released on Friday 1 Sep. The run of shows concludes at London's Alexandra Palace on Friday 22 Sep. Hitting London on September 22nd, this is their first headline show in the capital since reforming.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on June 21.
