Putin Claims He 'Didn't Really Even Talk' To Flynn

But that's not how NBC News spun it in a promo for the interview on Twitter.

In an interview set to air Sunday, Russia President Vladimir Putin told NBC's Megyn Kelly that hackers that could have influenced the us presidential election might not have come from his home country.

Former CIA director John Brennan said last month he had noticed contacts between Trump's campaign associates and Russian Federation during the 2016 election and grew concerned Moscow had sought to lure Americans down "a treasonous path".

The inaugural episode of Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly featured an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin who didn't say much of anything.

At one point, he even said Russian Federation didn't care about who heads the U.S.

"Clearly, it would be very, very troubling if the president of the United States is interfering in investigations that affect potentially the president and his closest associates", said Sen.

It was hard to find positive comments on Twitter about Kelly's interview with Putin.

When the conversation turned to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, Putin flat out rejected that the two had any sort of relationship. Putin said such a request would have been reported to him. "No such proposal ever reached me".

When Kelly asked why he hasn't asked Kislyak more recently about the alleged meetings, Putin got more irritated.

Boeing unveils plans for new version of 737 Max
Airbus and General Electric's aircraft leasing arm, GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), announced the firm order Monday. Test flights have been completed and Boeing is now talking to customers about ordering the Max 10.

He accused the media of sensationalising information and using it as "a weapon of war" against Mr Trump.

Comey, who was leading the Federal Bureau of Investigation's probe into alleged Russian meddling in last year's USA presidential election, was sacked by Trump last month, four years into his 10-year term.

"[Putin] talked openly about his family, and it was off the record so I won't get into it, but he talked lovingly about his family", the NBC host said. "Have you all lost your sense over there?" He added: "Do you think we're gathering compromising information on all of them right now or something?"

"For me, this is just wonderful".

Vladimir Putin has had what's being described by NBC as "a fascinating conversation" with the network's new host, Megyn Kelly, in which they discussed "a range of subjects, from sanctions to Syria", as well as Moscow's alleged meddling in United States politics. He also attacked Kelly and the press for raising those questions. She'll try out the Oprah bit next Sunday whens she interviews sportscaster Erin Andrews. Parts of their talk were broadcast Sunday night.

Before leaving Fox, Kelly was known as one of the few journalists who rattled Donald Trump during his campaign for president. "Presidents come and go, and even the parties in power change, but the main political direction does not change", he said. Frankly, it felt as if anyone could have hosted the program.

The Russian President dismissed the question as nonsense, according to The Washington Times.

The network is also developing a 9 a.m. show for Kelly to debut later this year. "We know more or less what is going to happen".
