Tebow ends 1st half of his 1st pro season with 3 strikeouts

Tebow ends 1st half of his 1st pro season with 3 strikeouts

The Fireflies clinch the division and a playoff spot with a win on Sunday.

Here's why Tim Tebow never would have succeeded as a wide receiver in the NFL.

The Charleston RiverDogs were exciting to welcome the Columbia Fireflies for a three-game weekend series because it meant Tim Tebow was coming to town.

He is among the South Atlantic League's strikeout leaders.

Trump Tweets: "I'm Under Investigation"
Trump also bragged to visiting Russian diplomats that getting rid of Comey relieved him of "great pressure because of Russia". And it was Rosenstein who appointed Robert Mueller as the special counsel to lead that investigation after Comey was sacked .

RiverDogs starter Nick Green surrendered just one run in the first inning then settled in to toss five innings while striking out four, walking just one, and not factoring into the decision.

Tebow has had some highlights to add to his reel this season, as he's launched homers and made some awkward-looking diving catches in the outfield to help his team out. His best game this week was Wednesday in a 6-2 victory at Greenville. First baseman Brandon Wagner and designated hitter Ben Ruta singled and came into score from a two RBI double from catcher Donny Sands to take a 4-1 lead. He also walked twice.

With the win, Columbia improved to 7-1 against Charleston this season.

At one point Saturday night Tebow took a great big cut at the plate. and let go of the bat. Tebow lost the grip on the bat and sent it soaring deep into the second level seats on the first base side of the stands.
