The Golden State Warriors Unanimously Decided Against Visiting Trump White House

Steve Kerr is expected to return to the Golden State Warriors' sideline after the team won its second National Basketball Association championship in three seasons under Kerr's direction on Monday night, Warriors general manager Bob Myers confirmed.

However, Andre Iguodala assisted a Durant dunk and added one of his own off a Curry feed, reopening a double-digit lead and making the final 7:42 an extended celebration among the Oracle Arena fans.

Golden State coach Steve Kerr has been among the most vocal figures in sports against Trump's policies. Critics have called the Warriors a super team with the addition of Kevin Durant a year ago.

If the Warriors ultimately reverse their prevailing stance and decide to visit the White House as a team, they'll first have to persuade Stephen Curry to go along.

The first-time title victor scored 39 points as point guard Stephen Curry posted 34 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland.

"I can't believe we're getting this question already, but you know, honestly that's something we'll worry about at the time". There were reports early Tuesday that the team would decline a White House visit, but the team is denying that.

"I remember the first day of camp and I walk into camp, and I didn't know what to expect, I didn't know what these guys were like on the court", said Durant.

After hearing reports of a possible White House snub, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tweeted, "The @warriors' leadership is inspiring".

"We don't want that to taint what we've accomplished this year". We have the parade, we just won a title. It's kind of insane to think about the conversations we had this summer and going into the year about how we can both mesh and do what we do and be the players that we are.

Stephen Curry has been the most underpaid player in the league ever since 2012, when he signed a four-year, $44 million contract.

With stars like Durant and Steph Curry, they waltzed through the 2017 playoffs not losing a game until they played Cleveland in the finals. "We don't even have to speak about it", Iguodala said.

The Warriors said in a statement that they've yet to receive the customary invitation to the White House for their big win, and they will make those decisions "when and if necessary".
