Vice President Pence Hires Private Attorney for Russia Probe

Less than a month after President Trump hired a private attorney to deal with the ongoing Russian Federation probes, Vice President Mike Pence has followed suit.

Pence has retained Richard Cullen, chairman of McGuire Woods and former USA attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, the Washington Post reports.

Vice President Pence has hired a private lawyer to help him respond to questions raised by the special counsel investigating interactions between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation. Pence's communications director Jarrod Agen said in a statement. He said in May, "As has been stated repeatedly and the President has been told, he's not under investigation".

Pence has not come under any particular scrutiny over the course of the Department of Justice Russia investigation.

Richard Cullen was a counsel to Sepp Blatter the former President of Federation Internationale de Football Association who was probed on corruption allegations by the world soccer's governing body.

Examining such possible charges will allow investigators to interview key people within the administration including Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Rosenstein and possibly Trump, the source told Reuters.

The Washington Post first reported Pence was hiring counsel. Mike Pence spent months trying to hide the truth about Donald Trump.

Vice President Mike Pence started a speech to a Central American security conference by expressing gratitude for the Capitol police officers who defended members of Congress in a shooting that wounded several lawmakers and their aides at a baseball field outside Washington.

The new allegations against Trump centre on his own admission that he fired Comey because of the Russian Federation investigation, and suggestions he asked several top intelligence officials for their help altering the direction of the inquiry.

And Vice President Dick Cheney consulted Terrence O'Donnell, a partner at Williams & Connolly, on several issues during his time in the Bush administration. They said they have made gains thanks to assistance from the US, which dramatically increased support for the three countries following a sharp increase in the number of unaccompanied minors crossing the USA border in 2014. "On the contrary, a prosperous and peaceful Central America is America's best investment in support of its people and, of course, a great investment for us". Some of you have even followed through with subscriptions, which is especially gratifying.
