Amber Alert Issued for Abducted 1-Year-Old Out of Monterey County

An Amber Alert has been issued in the abduction of one-year-old Emiliano Soledad, who was taken while in a child's auto seat in the back of a white 1992 Honda Accord, California license plate number 6RGB061.

The suspect is unknown, officials said.

Officers said the baby's father forgot something inside their home when he ran inside to grab it.

The boy was found unharmed several hours later in San Jose and reunited with his parents.

Police said Emiliano Salinas was abducted at 4:47 a.m. Gutierrez is in custody.

That's when Ramirez and a nearby construction worker chose to snatch the baby from the vehicle. Blevin told the newspaper that he saw an addled Gutierrez pacing and muttering to himself outside the stolen vehicle.
