Central Fiction adds Jubei as DLC this summer — BlazBlue

Following this afternoon's BlazBlue Central Fiction grand finals, Arc System Works posted a teaser for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, which will introduce characters from Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth, and RWBY.

So far, Arc has confirmed that Cross Tag Battle will feature Ragna the Bloodedge from BlazBlue, Yu from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Hyde from Under Night In-Birth, and Ruby Rose from animated series RWBY, with character artwork from the developer's "up-and-coming" illustrator Konomi Higuchi.

The company is working on a new BlazBlue game.

What makes the new fighting game unique, however, is that it is crossover title, similar to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

There have been rumors that a RWBY fighting game will be announced at EVO 2017, generating excitement as fans of the series have always been clamoring for a fighting game after the Dynasty Warriors-like RWBY: Grimm Eclipse. From the name itself, the game will also include a tag system which is a first for the franchise. Arc System Works promises there are more reveals to come. I know RWBY fans have been wanting a fighting game for awhile, so this seems like the flawless place to slip one in.

Central Fiction was released previous year on PlayStation 4, and completed BlazBlue's sprawling narrative. Rwby fans have long called for her addition to a fighting game.
