Delta Switched Ann Coulter's Seat, and a Political War Broke Out

Delta Air Lines has upset conservative pundit Ann Coulter after moving her from her preferred seat

She also documented the experience in photos and tweet after tweet, which she shared with her 1.6 million followers, not to mention the wider spectrum of people fascinated by things Ann Coulter does.

As part of her two-hour tweet tantrum, Coulter said she asked a flight attendant, "Why are you taking me out of the extra room seat I specifically booked?" At the time of boarding, the airline apparently moved the rightwing pundit to her previously allocated seat to accommodate seating requests from other passengers.

Ann Coulter went on a Twitter rant, declaring Delta "the worst airline in America" for moving her from an aisle seat to a window in the same row.

Coulter then took a picture of the woman who was given the seat, and said she was "not an air marshal or tall person".

She continued berating the airline in a stream of tweets, calling Delta the "suckiest" airline and suggesting a new motto for the airline. Animal handler? Stasi policeman?

@AnnCoulter We're sorry you did not receive the preferred seat you paid for and will refund your $30. However, what started out as complaints eventually turned into a public attack on the airline's employees and customers.

On Monday morning, shortly after midnight, the airline hit back at Coulter for maintaining a barrage of comments that was described by Delta officials as "unacceptable and unnecessary".

The flight's crew reported that despite initial confusion with the seats, all customers complied with the changes and there were no problems or concerns escalated.

Back when almost everyone else on the planet seemed outraged at United Airlines over the violent de-seating of a paying passenger, Ann Coulter, as she so often does, shared her own unique take. And we hold each other accountable when that does not happen. We know this because Coulter unleashed a tweetstorm unlike most you've ever seen. "Here's the woman given my PRE-BOOKED seat".
