Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2: filming begins

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 2: filming begins

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them was the studio's best performer of 2016, and proved a successful way to keep the Harry Potter money-making magic alive on screen.

This was confirmed through reports from media outlets like The Telegraph and Deadline, as well as Pottermore, the Harry Potter website owned by J.K. Rowling.

For example, first moment that Newt Scamander journeys into his magical briefcase and reveals all the creatures inside was a breathtaking set-piece.

You may also remember that in the first film, Scamander held a photo of a certain Leta Lestrange - who happened to be played by Zoë Kravitz.

Spoiler alert if you haven't seen the film already. "But Dumbledore will need help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander".

Principal photography just started today on the sequel to "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", and Warner Bros. celebrated with new details on the film - doled out in a creative way, of course.

J.K. Rowling has again written the script, with the action moving from NY to London and Paris, and revolving around Albus Dumbledore teaming up with former pupil Newt Scamander to bring down Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald.

Musk tweets news on Model 3
One assumes these 30 cars will be for 'friends' and employees of Tesla/SpaceX, along with the bulk of Model 3s delivered in August and September.

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was directed by David Yates and was the screenwriter debut of Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling, based on her book of the same name.

We will see transitions from NY to London to Paris, reportedly with "surprising nods to the existing Potter universe".

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel, which is still without an official title, will be released in theaters on November 16, 2018.

Most interestingly, from a plot perspective, is that Darri Ólafsson will Skender, the man who runs a wizarding circus and Claudia Kim will be the featured attraction at that circus.

Grindelwald will "make a dramatic escape" from MACUSA custody, forcing Dumbledore to join the wizarding world's efforts to stop him.

In addition to Redmayne, Depp, Law, Waterston, Fogler, and Sudol, the Fantastic Beasts sequel will also feature returning cast member Ezra Miller as Credence, "whose fate was unknown at the end of the first film" and who "makes a mysterious return".

As we're heard, young (er) Dumbledore as played by Jude Law will finally appear and his tumultuous and conflicted relationship with Grindelwald will hopefully be more than subtext.
