Google Maps now features traffic prediction to a destination

The new feature that is available for Android users of Google Maps shows a time graph depicting the best time to travel between two location along with giving the directions to travel from their current location to their destination.

Google is constantly updating all its platforms introducing new and innovative features for its users. A dashed line shows the average time the route typically takes, while the bars underneath indicate how long the same route will take over the next couple hours.

Google Maps is capable of some seriously impressive things, and that's highlighted by its ability to show you how busy a business is at any given time. Many people have reached their destinations with the help of this navigating App. Google Map keep on incorporating new features for the ease of its users just like it introduced Parking Availability feature few month back. More accessibility info has been added as well while Google has started testing out subway station layouts.

Google has not disclosed that when this mapping feature will be launched on iOS. You will see the time so you can at least have an idea or frame of reference for the distance and time to travel.

You can use this new chart to gauge your departure time.

The feature was reported by Android Police, and is now believed to be rolling out to all Android users in the U.S. and the UK.
