Justin Bieber Banned From China For 'Bad Behavior'

The Chinese government has reportedly banned Canadian pop star Justin Bieber from touring in the country, according to a report by The Telegraph.

Explaining their decision to slap the prohibition on the musician, Beijing's culture bureau said in a statement: "Justin Bieber is a talented singer but also a controversial young foreign singer". The tour, to promote his latest album, "Purpose", takes in Tokyo, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Singapore.

"Anyone who knows and then visits the Yasukuni Shrine is annoying", a user called Qiao Ating wrote on China's Twitter-like Weibo website on Friday.

Of course, there's good reason for the Chinese government to ban the pop star from performing in the country.

Therefore, the Chinese government has chose to ban Bieber in an effort to "maintain order in the Chinese market and purify the Chinese performance environment".

As Sharif clings on in Pakistan, smooth transition unlikely
Sharif and his cabinet members have been alleging for weeks that conspiracies are being hatched to oust Nawaz Sharif. Although in the past the Prime Minister was denounced for several cases of corruption, these were never proven.

"We hope Justin Bieber will continue to improve his behavior as part of his growth, and become a singer truly loved by the public", it said. Although Bieber's site shows no dates in China, a Chinese ticket agency is still selling tickets for a September 16 in Beijing and September 23 in Shanghai, but will be offering. The celebrity has come under fire on multiple occasions for his insensitive actions.

Bieber performed in China in 2013 when media coverage centered on him stripping on stage in Beijing to reveal his bare torso, being carried up the steps of the Great Wall of China, and riding a segway, again shirtless, through the streets.

This hasn't been the first time the Sorry singer has caused controversy in Asia. He has faced legal charges for vandalism, assault, and driving under the influence.

Shortly after his trip, the singer issued an apology saying he was "misled to think the shrines were only a place of prayer". And it seems as though he's working to make amends. At least, as far as China is concerned.
