Two Arrested For Murders of Four Missing Pennsylvania Men

Doylestown Pa. Lawyer Paul Lang a defense attorney for DiNardo said Thursday that his client has admitted killing the four men who went missing last week and tol

The police reported that the victim who was identified is known as a 19-year old Dean Finocchiaro, he is one of the four men who went missing from their respective regions.

Prosecutors further revealed they were led to the DiNardo farm after pinging one of the missing men's cellphones. DiNardo said he picked up Patrick at the man's home in Newtown on July 5 and drove him to the DiNardo family's property in Solebury Township. Mark Sturgis, 22, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, and Tom Meo, 21, of Plumstead Township, Bucks County, disappeared some time last Friday.

Weintraub said the bodies of Meo, Finocchiaro and Sturgis were found buried 12 feet deep in one common grave.

An attorney representing the couple issued a statement earlier Wednesday saying they sympathize with the families of the missing men and are cooperating "in every way possible with the investigation".

Weintraub announced the charges during a Friday press conference, alleging Cosmo DiNardo of Bensalem killed 19-year-old Jimi Taro Patrick on July 5 and buried him on his parents' farmland.

On Wednesday, DiNardo was arrested for the second time in three days after he allegedly tried to sell a vehicle belonging to Meo of Bensalem for $500.

The farm Finocciaro's body was found on belong's to Dinardo's father.

Officials said there were signs some or all of the men knew one another and were working to discover their links.

As police led the handcuffed suspect to a van Thursday evening, DiNardo said "I'm sorry" when asked by reporters whether he had sympathy for the victims' families. They shot and killed Finocchiaro and then placed him in a metal tank that he referred to as the pig roaster, Dinardo said, according to the criminal complaint.

The charges relate to the killings of Patrick, Meo, Sturgis and Finocchiaro.

On July 7, DiNardo and Kratz met with Finocchiaro, also involving marijuana sales.

Eric Beitz, who said he had hung out with DiNardo in recent weeks, told philly.com that DiNardo routinely sold guns and on multiple occasions had talked "about weird things like killing people and having people killed".

The details were provided after one of DiNardo's lawyers said Thursday that DiNardo had confessed to killing the men and had told investigators where their bodies were. Dinardo told police that he shot Meo in the back, and as Sturgis started to run away, Dinardo shot Sturgis, killing him.

It's not clear why Dinardo cooperated.

DiNario responded: "I mean I know the kid but yeah I feel bad for his parents". DiNardo then drove Meo and Sturgis to an adjacent property where Kratz was waiting, according to the court documents. In exchange for that confession, prosecutors agreed not to seek the death penalty against him.

Police said that two days later, DiNardo agreed to sell Finocchiaro a quarter-pound of marijuana and he picked up Kratz.

"I don't understand the science behind it, but those dogs could smell these poor boys 12° feet below the ground", Weintraub said.

Susan Coleman told news outlets that she and her husband were in their backyard last Saturday afternoon when they heard several rounds of what they believed was shotgun fire coming from the direction of the DiNardo farm.
