Britain won't back Donald Trump on military strike

Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., said President Donald Trump had elevated North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un as a "world stage player" in his statements over their nuclear weapons program, The Hill reported Saturday.

"You have this guy making bellicose threats against somebody else who has very little to lose over there", Ellison said, according to the Post.

The United States must take into account the tragic failure of appeasement and Kim Jong Un's ultimate aim of reunifying the Korean peninsula in its response to the communist regime's threats of nuclear attack, contends talk-radio host and author Michael Savage.

There were murmurs of agreement in the room before Ellison described what would need to happen before a "missile launch" become a reality. "But we're closer to war than we were a decade ago", McMaster said.

"However, right now Secretary [of State Rex] Tillerson and [United Nations] Ambassador [Nikki] Haley, you can see the American effort is diplomatically led, it has diplomatic traction it is gaining diplomatic results, and I want to stay right here, right now".

However, immediately follow his speech at the Netroots Nation conference, Ellison dialed back his remarks.

Experts said one missile had enough range to hit Alaska, but the most recent rocket firing on July 28 could strike the U.S. mainland.

"It's tailor-made for somebody to misuse", he added.

"I know people say the rhetoric wasn't stopping the advancement of their weapons, but we're tracking it and we have the technology to intercept", McCaskill said. I mean, his rhetoric might make Kim Jong Un think that he needs to strike first. "What we need from an intelligence perspective, what is most important is that our communications are clear that the fella who intends to inflict pain on the United States of America understands the USA position in an unambiguous way".

The missiles are created to carry nuclear weapons but it is not clear if the North has warheads small enough to fit on them, or the technology to bring them back to earth in one piece.

"There can be no question of blind loyalty to the erratic and belligerent Trump administration". At other planning sessions, activists plotted direct action in the case of actual hostilities.
