Taylor Swift New Music Speculation Sparked By Social Media Move

Taylor Swift has just won her case against radio host David Mueller, who sexually assaulted her in 2013 on the sidelines of a tour of her Red Tour tour.

The post in question is a rather dark, very short video featuring what looks like a spiky reptile tail wagging.

Taylor's 85 million followers on Twitter and 102 million followers on Instagram were left in shock after the singer deleted all of her posts.

"Is the new era coming or she has been hacked??,." tweeted another fan using the handle TaylorSwiftNow. "Those are the "last posted" dates on Facebook and Twitter", the fan hypothesizes. Her profile photos also disappeared. The video sent the Internet into a spiral of frenzied speculation, jokes, and bowing down before the epic social media prowess of Swift. One is that new music may drop the same day as the eclipse after the founder of Taylor's record label, Big Machine Label Group, posted an Instagram of a clock set to 2:50 p.m., reportedly the same time the eclipse will be most visible from NY.

Her fearless testimony describing the incident was applauded by fans and women's rights groups alike for highlighting the issue of sexual assault.

As noted by BuzzFeed, some fans are starting to wonder if there's a connection between Taylor's "blackout" and the total solar eclipse that is taking place today, August 21. On Aug. 18 of that year, she premiered "Shake It Off" and announced the upcoming release of her first pop album, 1989. The singer accused him of groping her behind during a meet-and-greet at one of her concerts back in 2013.
