CNN anchor ends segment early over commentator's weird 'boobs' remark

CNN's Brooke Baldwin blasts Fox Sports Radio host after derailed segment

Baldwin and the other guest on the segment, Keith Reed, were flabbergasted. Travis attacked ESPN for not firing Hill, when they had previously fired analyst Curt Schilling over comments on transgender people.

Fox Sports journalist Clay Travis shocked CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin Friday when we went on the air and loosely said he only believed in two things: boobs and the first amendment.

He continued by saying that the first part of the Bill of Rights and women's breasts "never let me down". The segment reached peak absurdity when Travis interrupted Reed to ask, "You don't love boobs, too?" "I just.it was one of those thought bubbles 'Did he actually say that on MY SHOW?!' Note to men - that is never okay". So those ares the only two things I believe in absolutely in the country. This was supposed to be a segment about President Donald Trump's feud with ESPN and Jemele Hill, yet Travis dropped some casual sexism and objectification along the way.

You'll notice that nowhere in that rundown of the past week's events was there mention of the word "boobs" or anything remotely to do with "boobs" - aside from completely irrelevant anatomical facts about key players in the story. "I'm a supporter and a stark supporter of women like Brooke who have shared the airwaves before", Reed said.

Baldwin looked stunned and eventually cut Travis off.

"I just want to make sure I'm hearing you correctly", she said again: "B-O-O-Z-E or B-O-O-B-S?"

"Why are you sitting here, live on CNN - why would you even say that live on national television and with female host?" "Yanking mics, bye", Baldwin said, apologizing to her viewers.

Minutes later, Baldwin tweeted her bewilderment at Travis' comments. "What did you just say?"

"I say it live on the radio all the time because it's true and that's what I do", Travis answered.
