On top of this, Facebook is seeking accreditation from the Media Rating Council for Instagram, Facebook and Audience Network.

In an effort to further combat hate speech and other violations, Facebook will add 3,000 content reviewers, almost doubling its existing team, said Carolyn Everson, Facebook senior vice president for global marketing solutions.

Facebook (O:) said on Wednesday it would introduce tougher rules on who can make money from advertising on its network, responding to criticism that it makes it too easy for providers of fake news and sensational headlines to cash in. While Brand safety has always been the top priority with thousands of advertisers posting ads on the Facebook, it is mandatory that the company should take some effort especially after the advertisers tanked the YouTube ads after discovering that the ads were run in all kind of content that promoted a lot of degrading phenomena including racism. "That being said, content adjacency might still be a concern for other ad placements in which the disconnect between content and advertisement may not be as clear".

The company reported that the Facebook is trying to come up with a set of tools and guidelines that detail the users including the creators and publishers so that they can make money as the content is posted on the platform with the unbelievable new revenue sharing business model.

Facebook will also step up its monitoring of hate speech, adding 3000 content reviewers to almost double the size of its existing team, Senior Vice President for Global Marketing Solutions Carolyn Everson said in a blog post.

As the previous year goes, Facebook has been troubled by many marketing concerns including the transparency and the measurements issues. These apply to videos on Facebook today, and will extend to Instant Articles over time. Keep in mind that even if your content is eligible for ads, some brands and advertisers may choose to use brand safety controls to tailor where their ads run.

To use any of our monetization features, you must comply with Facebook's policies and terms, including our Community Standards, Payment Terms, and Page Terms. Your content may be impacted by these guidelines, but will remain on the platform provided it meets our Community Standards.

Facebook is also banning ads from running on content that "promotes the sale or use of illegal products, services, or activities;" promotes "the excessive consumption of alcohol, smoking, or drug use;" or contains "excessive use of derogatory language".
