Jennifer Lawrence found her softer side while filming 'Mother!'

Jennifer Lawrence Darren Aronofsky Dating Quotes

In a brief statement on her page, the 27-year-old Oscar-winning actress wrote that comments she made in an interview with British network Channel 4 last week were taken "grossly out of context".

"He told me his ideas and I thought that they were just brilliant and unique and challenging".

It continued: "From filmmaker Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream), mother! stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer in this riveting psychological thriller about love, devotion and sacrifice". 'I would just go do something else'. "And finding a more sort of vulnerable, softer part of myself that I think I had been like covering up or shoving away for a long time", Lawrence said.

"He's just brilliant", she adds.

"Well, I don't know what makes her great - maybe it was her parents, maybe it was the Kentucky water", he jokes to ET.

When asked about working together while maintaining a personal relationship, Darren says there were no issues whatsoever. She's the type of actor that turns off all the intensity when she's not shooting, and then flips it on when she needs it.

The 27-year-old actor is now in a relationship with the filmmaker, and after working together on the sets of their new movie "Mother!', Lawrence said Aronofsky's directing skills have an artistic uniqueness".

Jennifer Lawrence attends the United Kingdom premiere of the Hollywood film "Mother" in London.

Lawrence quickly came under fire on social media for the remarks, with the official Twitter account for her latest film, the horror flick mother!
