Moto X Pure Edition receiving Android 7.0 update

Moto X Pure Edition receiving Android 7.0 update

A few days ago, we reported that Motorola has started rolling out September Security Soak Test update with BlueBorne patch for the Moto X Play. Due to openness of the Android Ecosystem and vast usability, it remain quite hard for different OEMs to update every device to latest firmware.

For those still holding onto a Moto X Pure Edition in the United States, you will be happy to know that your device won't be stuck on Android Marshmallow forever. Well, it sounds quite odd, that in the era of Android Oreo we are talking about the Nougat updates. Those were the days when Motorola was really flexible and quick when it came to pushing out bug-free android updates. Now, the Moto X Pure has started receiving the update after a long testing period.

The new OS update comes close on the heels of Moto X Pure Edition in the US (Moto X Style in other countries) getting the Android 7.0 Nougat version (not Android 7.1.1 Nougat). And brings all the goodies offered in Nougat along with Google's duo app and all the expected stability as well as performance improvements.

England batting quandary remains after Ashes announcement
Commenting on the new recruits, Whitaker said: "Surrey's Ben Foakes deserves his selection for the first time at this level". Vince played seven Tests in 2016, but paid the price for averaging only 19.27 in 11 innings against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

In addition, a user tweeted to Lenovo and MotoIndia asking them how they can skip the Nougat update on a Kick-Ass phone Moto X Play. Those who haven't received a notification for the update can head to Settings About Phone System updates to check for availability, and then if an update is available, download and install.

I know you've been waiting for this update very patiently, so I won't keep you.
