Rumors about another HD release of Capcom's lovely and beloved action-adventure game have been floating around for a little while, but confirmation has finally come into the light this morning.

Finally, I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the game is in fact coming. Originally developed by Hideki Kamiya's Clover Studio and released on PlayStation 2 in 2006, it was highly praised for its lovely Japanese-style music and visuals.

Okami has been considered one of Capcom's greatest games. They've also restored the original loading screen mini-game that allows you to earn extra demon fangs to spend on in-game items.

Okami Remastered Officially Confirmed, Coming To PS4 And PC With 4K Resolution

Okami was originally released for the PlayStation 2 back in 2006 and was praised by critics for its gorgeous visuals, engaging story, and originality.

It's been rumoured for a while but now it's official - Okami HD will be arriving on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year. The graphic style is inspired by traditional Japanese art.

Okami is considered to be one of the best games of the PS2 era and has a very passionate fanbase. People will also be able to play in a 4:3 ratio or modern 16:9 widescreen format. Using your Celestial Brush, you can transform the world at your will, wiping away the corruption that plagues the land and restoring Nippon to its former glory.
