Steelers' Shazier says he's been fined $25K for Kizer hit

Steelers-Browns-Football-17

Such an expectation wasn't fair, let alone reasonable.

Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier told ESPN that the National Football League has fined him $25,000 for his hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback DeShone Kizer.

The Ravens are now 1-0 on the young season following an opener win over the Cincinnati Bengals 20-0.

As contentious as the Ravens' rivalry with the Cincinnati Bengals - last week's opponent - has been, that has not been the case against the Cleveland Browns, who trail 27-9 in the all-time series. This year one of Dalton's key protectors, right guard Kevin Zeitler, was lured away by the Browns to come protect rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer.

Gregg Williams' defense looked transformed as they forced three three-and-outs, picked off a pass and limited the Steelers to just 2 scoring drives while Kizer showed promise despite a less than ideal debut. "I think it's exciting for our organization", he went on. He's got to continue to grow and get better and continue to show improvement and progress week in and week out. The two teams also share an O/U of 1-5 in their last 6 meetings in Baltimore whenever they clash as well.

You'll be able to watch the game on CBS on Sunday afternoon if you're in either the Cleveland or Baltimore markets, or you can subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket to check it out even if you're out of market.

This is a bad Browns team, however, and the Ravens could get up early in the game.
