Trump Is 'A White Supremaicst — ESPN Anchor

Jemele-Hill-Trump-1-696x649

ESPN previous year fired the conservative Schilling for what management deemed insensitive social media posts targeting, not a politician, but transgender people.

The tweet that garnered the most reaction said: "Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists".

Among those offering support for Hill online was Colin Kaepernick, who told her via Twitter, "We are with you", and who himself has been highly critical of Trump.

While the Michael Jordan axiom "White supremacist watch sports too" forced ESPN to address the issue, if it were really a problem, they'd have fired her.

Since that time, she's been awarded hosting gigs on two programs, including the prized SportsCenter co-anchor spot at 6 p.m.

As for Kaepernick's tweet to Hill, Jones said he doesn't think it will help his odds of getting signed by an National Football League team.

But the decision to suspend Cohn seems harsh given the recent events involving another ESPN on-air personality. She continues to do her show because Bob Iger and John Skipper, the CEO of Disney and the president of ESPN, agree with her and want left-leaning politics to be the forward-facing front of ESPN.

Gabrielle Union also joined in the discussion.

Being patently politically correct is also a thing at ESPN now, apparently.

It hurts me to say that because I know Jemele.

Both ESPN and Cohn declined to comment when contacted by Fox News.

Meanwhile, outspoken conservative former Major League Baseball star Curt Schilling was sacked from the network for expressing political views on social media. ESPN stressed then it was "an inclusive company".

The network responded with a statement on Tuesday.

Britt Henry, former ESPN reporter.

According to the Washington Post, ESPN has fired people over posting controversial comments on social media comments.

The network has reoriented its programming more toward opinion and debate, encouraging some hosts to veer away from sports.

In neither apologizing nor announcing a suspension - while simultaneously distancing itself - ESPN has managed to enrage just about everyone who has seen the "SportsCenter" anchor's Tuesday night rant about President Trump. "There's even a fear of putting Fox News on a TV [in the office]".
