Iran will 'shred' nuclear deal if USA quits it - Ali Khamenei

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has launched an attack on U.S. President Donald Trump for his attempts to row back on the 2015 nuclear deal between Tehran and the global community.

"If they ask questions like, 'Why Iran is active in the region?', well, it is none of their business", he said.

The American leader called for the deal to be amended to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons or intercontinental ballistic missiles.

"It is clearly not in the hands of any president of any country in the world to terminate an agreement of this sort".

Trump's focus includes Syria, where Iran is backing the Syrian regime and supporting Hezbollah. Israel did so to discourage further Syrian fire - but officials in Jerusalem believe that having the worldwide community rein in Iran is the best way to calm the Syrian regime. If Trump ditched the deal, "Iran will shred it".

Europe, firstly, needs to stand against the US' practical measures regarding the JCPOA, Khamenei said, adding, "Secondly, they should not interfere the Islamic Republic's defense issues".

Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott Seeks Restraining Order to Get Back on the Field
On Monday morning, the NFLPA acknowledged that his suspension was in effect and he was not allowed at the team's facilities. Because of this, the injunction will not be lifted until the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals decided on this new motion.

But Trump still made a decision to unveil his tough new strategy to "combat" America's old enemy.

Speaking in a Wednesday meeting with a group of elite students in Tehran, Ayatollah Khamenei strongly condemned Europe for reiterating the United States remarks about Iran's regional presence and missile program, saying that such issues are none of their business. "It is now stating that it is against the elimination of the nuclear deal by the US", Rear Admiral Shamkhani added.

"I don't want to waste time on answering the rants and whoppers of the brute USA president", Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said.

Israelis with an inside track on the Iran deal have reacted positively to Trump's latest position.

Dore Gold, director-general of the Israeli Foreign Ministry until a year ago, is optimistic about the chances of America fixing problems with the nuclear deal, and reducing the Iranian threat. We welcomed this, but it is not enough to ask Trump not to rip up the agreement.
