Las Vegas suspect's father was bank robber on FBI Most Wanted list

Las Vegas suspect’s father was gambler bank robber and on FBI’s Most Wanted list for 8 years

"He's a guy who lived in a house in Mesquite and drove down and gambled in Las Vegas".

Chilling, the crook had a run-in with cops in 1971 while hiding out in Las Vegas. Paddock got away with over $4,600 from the robbery.

"Diagnosed as psychopathic", the description reads.

Authorities also believe Paddock acted alone but had identified his female companion, Marilou Danley, as a person of interest.

The revelation came in an interview with Paddock's brother, Eric, earlier Monday.

A run-in with police in 1971 while he hid out in Las Vegas was reported in newspapers from the time, he escaped after driving towards Federal Bureau of Investigation agents. He was reportedly then the manager of a bingo parlor in the Eugene, Oregon, area and living under the name Bruce Werner Ericksen. According to his other son, Eric Paddock, not much.

A report from CBS stated that gambling was Paddock's favorite hobby, however. He said everyone called him Bingo Bruce.

Neither, however, suggests a man on the verge of shooting hundreds of people. An archived newspaper clip from the Arizona Republic detailed the crimes of Patrick Benjamin Paddock, who also went by Benjamin Hoskins Paddock.

Porter Health Care System offers activities for breast cancer awareness month
A woman in the USA has a 12.4 percent, or 1 in 8, lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer . Instead, it means an ongoing fight and struggle against an opponent that does not rest.

By far the most unusual thing about Paddock isn't really about Paddock at all.

Benjamin Hoskins Paddock tried to run down an FBI agent with his auto in Las Vegas in 1960 and wound up on the agency's most wanted list after escaping from a federal prison in Texas in 1968, when Stephen Paddock was a teen.

While serving a 20-year sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution at La Tuna in Texas, Paddock made a successful escape in 1969.

An FBI most-wanted poster said Paddock was "diagnosed as psychopathic" and "reportedly has suicidal tendencies and should be considered armed and risky".

As for what motivated the actions of his brother, Eric Paddock said he and his family are "still just completely befuddled".

Stephen Paddock was not known to police before the attack that devastated America.

We simply don't know.

"No affiliation, no religion, no politics. There's no religious affiliation that we know of". It's like he shot us.
