Smart or nah? LaVar Ball pulls LaMelo out of Chino Hills HS

LaVar Ball I'm Pulling La Melo Out of Chino Hills Home Schooling Him

LaMelo's leaving will surely have significant effects on Southern Californian basketball, let alone Chino Hills.

LaMelo said he's not anxious about missing out on traditional high school life and not going to school with his friends.

Instead, LaMelo will be home-schooled and home-trained. I am disappointed it couldn't have worked better for LaMelo and the players.

Appearing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday for Lonzo's second National Basketball Association preseason game, the eldest Ball informed ESPN that he was pulling his youngest son, LaMelo, from high school.

Today, LaMelo Ball becomes the 1st high school player ever to have his own signature shoe. The biggest of the big ballers has had enough with yet another high school coach. "It's good for Melo", the 48-year-old told the Los Angeles Times.

Of course, LaVar didn't need to pull LaMelo entirely out of school just to get him away from a coach he didn't like. LiAngelo is considered the least skilled of the three, but LaVar has said he intends to have LiAngelo be a one-and-done player as well.

LaMelo will be trained and home-schooled by LaVar for the next two years.

LaVar Ball has always had strong feelings about how the basketball careers of his sons should go, and in the case of Lonzo Ball becoming a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, he was correct about how it would go. "He won't go to the NCAA". The youngest of the Ball brothers infamously scored 92 points in a game last season and was slated to be a huge star this coming season but the patriarch of the family has other ideas.

USC's Tony Bland has hired a high-profile NY attorney to represent him against the federal charges that resulted in his arrest last week. "I didn't foresee this happening", Baik said. Would it surprise anyone if LaVar uses his massive fame to publicly question Alford the same way he has the Chino Hills coaches? Gillig told him: "I'm trying to win the game".

Chino Hills hired Dennis Latimore as its new head coach in May, replacing Stephan Gilling, who was the head coach for one season. The Times reported LaVar was already "having concerns" about the program's new leadership.
