Looking to get away? Southwest Airlines' 72-hour sale is underway, offering discounted flights to a number of destinations. With this deal, customers will be able to purchase round-trip tickets for much cheaper than previously available - try under $100 for a round-trip on dozens of routes.

Deals out of Kansas City, include 49 one-way flights to Chicago, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Nashville and St. Louis.

Flights begin at $49 each way and increase to $79, $99, or $129 each depending on flight length.

This twice-a-year sale launched Tuesday morning, and it covers flights from October 31 through December 19 and from January 3 through February 14. Global travel is valid from October 31, 2017 to December 13, 2017, and again from January 10, 2018 to March 2, 2018.
