Barça make new offer to Liverpool for Coutinho

Barcelona news: Philippe Coutinho to follow Lionel Messi and force through Liverpool move

Barcelona-linked midfielder Philippe Coutinho says that he is "very happy" with life at Liverpool, as he gets to play in "one of the biggest leagues in the world".

But rumours linking the 25-year-old with a move to Barcelona haven't stopped since the summer window closed.

But the Spanish newspaper claim Coutinho has asked Liverpool not to sell him to PSG.

The playmaker could potentially face off against his Liverpool teammates Joe Gomez and Dominic Solanke at Wembley, with both players having been named in Gareth Southgate's England squad.

Now he is raring to go, with the match against England giving him the ideal opportunity to build up a bit of match fitness ahead of returning to action with Liverpool.

Neymar is believed to be doing his best to try and convince his Brazilian team-mate to join him at the Parc des Princes but it remains to be seen whether Coutinho is open to the move.

Reports suggest Barcelona will come calling for Coutinho, once again.

Havertz is one of the most highly-rated young attacking midfielders in German football after breaking in to the Leverkusen first team a year ago having progressed through the youth ranks.

The former Inter Milan ace, absent for Liverpool's last three games due to a troublesome injury, has four goals and three assists in nine appearances this season.

There is some hope for Liverpool supporters after the same report revealed that Coutinho's relationship with manager Klopp has not been ruined by the transfer saga.
