Bills-Saints in NFL Week 10

New Orleans Saints free safety Vonn Bell celebrates a defensive stop in the second half of an NFL football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in New Orleans Sunday Nov. 5 2017

The Bills at least held in the red zone of the Saints' next drive, forcing a 23-yard field goal to keep the game within 14 points.

And according to ESPN Stats & Information, the Saints became the first National Football League team since 1941 with six rushing TDs and zero punts in a game.

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, out injured since the start of last season, was visibly emotional on the sideline as he returned to back up Case Keenum, who threw touchdowns to Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and David Morgan in a 38-30 win over the Washington Redskins.

And if the Saints (7-2) do wind up traveling to Philly in January, they have the kind of team that's built for it.

The Saints lost their first two games this season but have been relentless since and comfortably lead the NFC South, with a new and improved defence and ground game to the fore. And they almost scored a TD of their own, with defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins intercepting a pass and rumbling 27 yards on the return to Buffalo's 3-yard line in the third quarter.

Mark Ingram had three touchdowns on 131 yards rushing. The Bills have two road games - at the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs - before returning home in December to host the New England Patriots in a game that will likely mean more for the Bills' chances at a wild-card playoff berth than winning the division.

But he still got in on the fun when he scrambled for a rare 7-yard rushing TD in the third quarter. The Saints' 298 rushing yards were the eighth-most against Buffalo in their franchise history and most since 2012, when the Seattle Seahawks ran for 311.

A runaway train, indeed.
