Charles Manson Reportedly Hospitalized In Bakersfield

Charles Manson hospitalised, reportedly dying

The 83-year-old Manson was rushed from his cell at the Corcoran State Prison to a Bakersfield hospital earlier this week.

Authorities confirmed Wednesday that mass murderer Charles Manson is back in a Bakersfield, Calif., hospital, though the severity of his condition is unclear.

"It's not going to get any better for him", they told the news outlet.

In California prisons inmates are provided with medical care. He is reported to have sought to start a "race war", which he dubbed "Helter Skelter" after The Beatles' song of the same name.

Their crimes Manson committed in 1969 in Los Angeles, together with three women who were part of his commune "Family". Among the victims was also Saron Tate, the wife of Roman Polansky, who was 8 months pregnant and was stabbed 16 times by the members of the organization.

All members of the "Family" were sentenced to death.

In 1971, Manson was found guilty of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for his role in orchestrating the killings. He has been denied parole 12 times, the most recent time in 2012.
