Diddy Changed His Name on His 48th Birthday

"I have some very, very serious news", he wrote.

The constantly name-changing music mogul, artist and top earning Hip-Hop act of 2017, who was born Sean John Combs, announced earlier today that he has chose to change his moniker yet again, this time to "LOVE" aka "Brother Love". He will henceforth be known as "Love" or "Brother Love". I'm something different. So my new name is Love.

Instead the rapper chose to mark his 48th birthday by changing his name.

The constantly name-changing music mogul, who was born Sean John Combs, announced today that he has made a decision to once again tweak his moniker-this time he's moving from "Diddy" to "Love" or "Brotherly Love". Let him explain. "What's up y'all, I have some very serious news", the music mogul said in an Instagram video from an undisclosed beach.

Rockford police officer killed after traffic stop
The officer, identified as Jamie Cox, made a traffic stop in the area of State Street and Dawn Avenue at about 1 a.m. Officers responded and found a single vehicle crash approximately two blocks away from the initial traffic stop.

The artist formerly known as Sean "Diddy" Combs has changed his name. So if he wants to change his name to Love or Brother Love, so be it. "I knew it was risky, 'cause it could come off as corny to some people, (but) I chose to change my name again". I'm just not who I am before.

"My new name is LOVE aka Brother Love.' He tagged his excited post: 'Takedat". A year later, he went back to using Sean John.

And finally, or so we thought, in 2005 he ditched the P for the more simple Diddy (apart from the week in 2011 when he went by Swag). We thought that it would last forever, but not so fast.
