Disturbing Tom Sizemore Allegation, Involving 11-Year-Old Co-Star, Surfaces

Not Released

The "Saving Private Ryan" actor was forced to leave a Utah film set after the young girl told her parents that Sizemore touched her genitals, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film's casting director, Catrine McGregor, recalled how she received a call the following day from the actress' agent the next day informing her the girl's mum said her daughter had been "inappropriately touched", reports MailOnline.

This was the first time the alleged incident had been reported.

The 11-year-old, who had a small role in the film, was required to sit on Sizemore's lap during a photo session for a scene in the film. It was at this time that Sizemore either allegedly rubbed his finger against the child's vagina or inserted his fingers inside. Producer Gus Spoliansky said they had a "fiduciary responsibility" to oversee the film's continued production, even though producers "took the allegation extremely seriously" and "were willing to do anything, including dismissing Tom".

The producers of the film told THR they removed Sizemore from the set as soon as they heard about the assertion, reviewed the photographs from the portrait session but found them to be inconclusive, and suggested to the child's parents they could contact police if they wanted. Now, in the wake of the tide of sexual assault allegations going public throughout Hollywood, she is reportedly pursuing her legal options against both Sizemore and her parents. The actor had a reputation on the set for being hard, and was often drunk or high during filming.

The film - not to be confused with another Sizemore film, Natural Born Killers - was shot under the title Piggy Banks and was released in 2005.

Robyn Adamson, who portrayed Sizemore's wife, described what happened. I was watch her.

A former production assistant, Roi Maufus, told The Hollywood Reporter: "The little girl said what she said and we all thought, "That fucking sleazebag.' There was never any doubt. We're talking about consistent behaviour, just being 'Tom Sizemore" on set every day".

"Our position is 'no comment, '" his agent Stephen Rice told THR. "We also talked to Tom at the time, and told him everything that had been told to us, and he said: 'I've done a lot of terrible things, and I'd never do anything with kids.' We considered whether we had some responsibility to him to not pass judgment on him". In 2003, the actor was sentenced to six months in jail for physically abusing his then-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss during their two-year relationship.

Mufas says some members of the production staff "reached for hammers" and had to be talked down from confronting Sizemore.
