Gal Gadot won't do Wonder Woman sequel unless Brett Ranter is out

The actress reportedly doesn't want the franchise to benefit a producer accused of sexual misconduct. Yes, and that's because the lead actress, Gal Gadot aka the iconic Diana Princess, the Wonder Woman, has threatened to walk out of the much anticipated sequel! Ratner's company, RatPac-Dune Entertainment, helped produce the first Wonder Woman, which internationally grossed over $400 million. She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet, ' a Warner Bros. insider told the outlet.

On the other side where Ratner's production group Rat-Pac Dune co-financed the favorite film in an arbitration with Warner Bros., furthermore, Gal Gadot is asking that the studio hire out his post, from the Page Six news. Ratner also released a statement earlier this month, saying that he would be stepping away from "all Warner Bros. -related activies".

I can only hope that, as more women get the power Gadot has, they use it in this way: to freeze abusers out of the prestige and money they crave, and demand that studios do the same.

"Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman showed us a strong, capable, poised, curious and compassionate character, and her performance has been universally praised, resonating with audiences everywhere", Matzner said in a statement. Warner Bros. cut ties with him after the allegations surfaced.

Despite Ratner, via his attorney, categorically denying the accusations, Gadot has allegedly stood firm on her decision not to work with him again.

But now one of the film's producers is under fire after a trail of sexual misconduct allegations followed Harvey Weinstein's bumpy exit from Hollywood.

She took to social media to make her stance very clear: 'Bullying and sexual harassment is unacceptable! This comes on the heels of a thorough report in the Los Angeles Times regarding Ratner's history of sexual harassment, with actress Ellen Page coming forward with her own story of Ratner's harassment just a few days ago. I stand by all courageous women confronting their fears and speaking out.

We certainly hope not; we couldn't imagine anyone embodying everything Wonder Woman stands for quiet so perfectly.
