How The Last Jedi will tie into Star Wars: Battlefront 2

On December 5, players must choose a side.

In the post announcing the news, Johnson earns praise for his ability to create a powerful episode in the current series by writing and directing this most recent instalment. This means that new content from the movie will be arriving in the game at this time as well.

The Last Jedi season also includes another single player mission. On December 13, the cinematic content from Star Wars: The Last Jedi continues with a new planetary map: Crait and Starfighter Assault map of D'qar, plus a new hero ship - Tallie Lintra's RZ-2 A-wing. Your choice is important, as it will allow you to take part in special challenges that will grant your faction specific rewards.

Things kick into high gear on December 13. Captain Phasma and Finn will be joining the fight, and whichever faction completes the most challenges that week will receive a special reward for either Finn or Phasma.

Starting in December and through the remainder of 2017, Star Wars Battlefront 2 players have plenty of free content and activities to look forward to.

The Star Wars actor went on to talk about a mind-blowing twist where Luke would get an evil clone from his severed hand.

Unfortunately, EA Access is only available on Xbox One and PC, so this option isn't now available to those on PS4. On the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which bows globally December 15, Johnson becomes the first to get solo credit on a Star Wars film since creator George Lucas.

The 13th will also bring new maps and vehicles tied into The Last Jedi.

Johnson, after all, seemed to be the most logical choice having just finished work on the next chapter in the saga, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi".

In Kennedy's interview with "The Star Wars Show", she proudly said that Johnson has done an "exceptional job" in handling the new characters together with the iconic ones that will definitely move fans to the "next place".
