Motorola returns to the tablet market after 6 years

With the tablet market in decline all over, Lenovo, which is the current owner of Motorola, is wise to think that nobody is going to spend $400-$500 on an Android tablet. In turn, Motorola helped Lenovo gain traction in the mobile business. To some extent, the Moto Tab feels like an extension of Lenovo's Tab 4 10 line, a little below the Tab 10 Plus. The Moto Tab comes equipped with a 10.1-inch Full HD display, dual front-facing Dolby Atmos speakers, Snapdragon 625 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage (up to 128GB), Android 7.1 Nougat, and a 7,000 mAh battery. The tablet is designed especially for entertainment for the whole family.

Now we have come to know that the tablet is dubbed as Lenovo Moto Tab, and will be launched in the USA on November 17. Adults can also use it for basic computing if they want to catch up on work during a flight.

Moto Tab ships with TV Mode which lets users quickly access favourite shows, movies and content in a single swipe from the home screen, lock screen, or by tapping the Quick Launch button. Additionally, there is a kids mode, in which the children can only view curated content and approved websites, all controlled from the tablet's built-in parental tools. This feature brings a more personalized experience for everyone even it's just one device. The Productivity Pack brings a ThinkPad-style Bluetooth keyboard with a dedicated touchpad and a protection case. Buyers need either an existing AT&T plan to purchase the tablet without a contract, or pay $15 for 20 months via the carrier's installment plan.

Lenovo is also offering an optional Home Assistant Pack that includes a stand with dual microphones and a 3W speaker to transform the tablet into a makeshift smart home assistant.
