Police Make Arrest After Subway Manspreader Punches Woman in Face

Man punches subway rider for complaining about his manspreading

She told the New York Daily News that she was riding the train to work "sitting at the end of the auto when the man next to her spread his legs open wide and pushed her into the side of the vehicle at 7:45 a.m".

'When I asked him to give me room, he yelled "b**** you aint nothing!" Following the incident, Saia reportedly published a Facebook post to explain how she put in her earbuds and attempted to ignore the man as he went on an unintelligible tirade. You just f-- hit a lady. "He told me expletive, you expletive, I've raped white b****** like you before".

"B--, you ain't nothing! And at that point I just felt blood gushing".

Here, in a video captured after the incident, Saia argues with the suspect on the train.

.

A witness also filmed a video after the attack, showing the man being ejected from the train by fellow passengers.

The man who confronted the assailant said he was "off-duty" and grabbed the man's arms, telling him to get off the train for hitting the woman.

"Get the f-- off the train".

Samantha Saia told police she asked the man to be more considerate and move over so someone else could sit down.

She'd only posted it "to get his face out there", she said. However, when Sam called them, they said it would be a waste of time traveling to their precinct because the crime can be reported anywhere.

Saia told the Daily News that she first went to the 17th Precinct stationhouse, where two officers referred her to Transit District 34, which has jurisdiction. "This took me by surprise".

Ms Saia said that the man turned violent, started to swear and eventually landed a punch on her mouth.

And to the creep who attacked her, Saia had these words: "I would want to understand how you could do that to somebody". "I just want to be out of the spotlight". Someone got it on video, and caught when he'd pulled the scarf down.

A stranger, courageous fellow Brooklyn commuter Victor Conde, leapt from his seat across the train and grabbed the attacker by the wrist, ordering him off the train at the next stop. The encounter between him and the aggressor was recorded by a fellow passenger, which Saia then posted on her Facebook page.
