Yankees' Judge undergoes shoulder surgery

Yankees All Star Judge undergoes shoulder surgery

Aaron Judge underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder Monday, the Yankees announced.

The procedure involved a loose-body removal and cartilage cleanup, the team said.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, and the good news is that Judge is expected to be ready prior to the start of spring training.

Judge played through the shoulder issue.

Tether Hack: Cryptocurrency Worth $31 Million Stolen
The Tether team said they would blacklist the address , so the tokens stolen in the hack could not be converted into US dollars. Several crypto-currency exchanges froze trade in Tether following the announcement, the news site Coindesk reported .

In the first 44 games of the second half, Judge hit just.179.

Judge, who won the Home Run Derby in July, slumped coming out of the All-Star Break before finishing strong and helping the Yankees to a wild-card berth.

Judge, 25, hit an AL-leading and a Yankees-rookie-record 52 home runs while driving in 114 runs and batting.284 over 155 games during his rookie campaign in 2017.

Judge was also in the running for MVP, but lost out to Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve. Hopefully Judge's rehab goes well and he comes back next season at full strength, because if this season was any indication, he's pretty excellent even when his shoulder is barking.
