76ers Trade Jahlil Okafor to Nets In Multi-Player Deal

As part of the deal, Okafor would join the Nets along with Nik Stauskas and a future second-round pick in exchange for Trevor Booker.

Luckily, after all of the trade rumors dating back to last season, Philadelphia seems like they're finally going to get Okafor off their hands this week after a report claims the team is finalizing a trade with the Brooklyn Nets.

Philadelphia had been trying to trade Okafor since his rookie season but had been unable to find a taker.

This trade now gives Brooklyn two of the three top picks from the 2015 NBA Draft in less than one season.

Pollution can permanently damage a child's brain
Air pollution is closely associated with asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis and other respiratory infections, it said. Reducing children's exposure in the areas of high air pollution is also very important.

In return, the 76ers get a veteran forward in Booker.

In 2017, Booker is averaging 10.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 0.3 blocks per game.

This deal resolves a situation where Okafor, a low-post scorer who spent one season at Duke, was in limbo as far as his National Basketball Association career.

Okafor has played in only two games for the 76ers this season and has seen his minutes dwindle as his career has progressed. The Sixers free up cap space for this upcoming offseason by moving Stauskas asusming that they do not retain Booker's services beyond this season. While he averaged 14.6 points for the Sixers, and shot 51 percent from the field, he was marginalized by Embiid's rise to stardom.
